Plain-English Reference Ledger

Term	Plain-English Meaning	Where to Use It
SEO vs. GEO	SEO ranks your site in Google/Bing. GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) gets your brand quoted by ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, and Gemini.	SEO & GEO
Index Accelerator	Gets new pages discovered by Googlebot and AI bots in hours by archiving them and sharing discovery links across your connected accounts.	Index Accelerator
Verified Property	An official profile on a high-authority site (GitHub, Crunchbase, Stack Overflow, Flickr) that links back to your domain.	Verified Properties
Rendered-DOM Proof	Arden opens external pages in a real headless Chrome browser (Playwright) to prove your link is actually visible on screen.	Verification
Followed vs. Nofollow	"Followed" links pass direct Google ranking credit. "Nofollow" or "UGC" links do not pass ranking credit, but still drive bot discovery and clicks.	Verified Properties
Donor Score (0–100)	A 0–100 quality rating for each external link based on page reachability, Followed status, direct URL (no redirect chains), and content depth.	Index Accelerator
Canary Check	A 10-second automated test on a connected account: posts a test link, verifies it in Chrome, and immediately deletes the test post.	Publishing
GhostRetire	Automatic cleanup that archives or removes temporary announcement posts after 7 or 30 days once Google has indexed your page.	Index Accelerator
